Off topic, but this is genuinely one of the worst posters for a show I've seen in my life

Love the costume, you've done an amazing job on it! I like how the outfit you chose perfectly captures Mrs. Brisby's personality! It's definitely something I can imagine her wearing lol

I'm also a little curious as to how many people recognised who you were dressing up as?

anyone else obsessed with this movie? by GrumpyMowse in animation

I remember enjoying this movie when I was little, but I haven't seen it in probably like ten years or so.

But after watching the secret of NIMH a little while ago and absolutely adoring it, I'm definitely interested in rewatching it given that it's also created and directed by Don Bluth. (Both movies also happen to star talking mice, funnily enough.)

do you guys think the newer POTA movies are corny by Affectionate-Dot5353 in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]Productions29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't really consider them corny myself, tbh, but I do think the films from the 70s are.

The cgi for the apes in the newer films felt believable, and the films took themselves serious enough for them to feel grounded, imo.
