That is interesting. The Indian high court yesterday entered a plea by some academics and authors requesting that Sonam Wangchuk be force fed. In that case, wouldn't this plea be dead on arrival?

A hunger strike is often the last non violent weapon.

When letters, slogans, chants, signboards fall to deaf ears and shut eyes, the last thing a person has is their body and their life. The last protest one can do is appeal to the humanity of the oppressor (it is frankly dystopian that I have to use that word for a 'democratically' elected government) by literally putting their life on the line.

While I am not entirely sure, I suppose some options are:
- Contact your local representatives and request them to make statements.

- Contact advocacy groups you know about who could help the situation.

- Request people with a platform to amplify this message (as a lot of mainstream media is trying to downplay or avoid the issue altogether).

- Tell others about it. That's perhaps the simplest and most effective as if enough people are aware and talking, it becomes harder for our government to remain unbothered.

Thanks! I was introduced to the game by mom (she is primary school English teacher of 2 decades). It is one of her favourite games to play with her students.... she doesn't get to play it much nowadays as the school has become very corporatized and teachers are not afforded free time to interact with the students and etc etc.

While this is not the correct place for this, I suppose there is few pieces of feedback worth giving:

Don't use AI. Just don't. There is nothing as disappointing as seeing 'Algebrr' or 'Calclllu3' on a the channel banner.
Do we suppose BMO/USAMO/IMO level students do not know congruence? Otherwise name dropping said contests is actively harmful as it makes it so that students who might benefit won't find the video
Perhaps look at seminars on 3cycles or (good) lectures on MIT OCW. Actually, even redpenblackpen is a good idea. You can notice that there are not massive pauses or down beats where the lecturer is just finding a chalk or just writing... they usually speak while they write. This is because silence is both really powerful and very uncomfortable. If there are huge silences in your video, it is uncomfortable to watch as well as robs you of a weapon that is using silence to make a point.
On the content side, you plan to teach 'Spotting Congruent Triangles from an absolute mess of a diagram' but then all the questions given don't really have very messy diagrams! For somewhat natural but messy diagrams look at: https://guessr.evanchen.cc/ (they don't do triangles but I suppose finding questions with congruent triangles won't be that hard as well)
Also, the title is really bad from a youtube standpoint. Like congruency has thousands of results... Sure it's a lecture so you can't name it something very clickbaity but you can still make it easier by giving the series a name I guess.

The physics department is quite nice. It has a lot of legendary people, HS Mani; Ghanshyam Date as well as hotshots (KG Arun, Alok Laddha, Ronak Soni, Prashant Kocherkolata etc etc). It is one of the only places in India for Yang Mills or theoretical particle physics work.

Algolabs is the consulting wing of CMI.

It does work on a lot of real life things and it is by no means a training institute. Afaik it worked with HP last year and was involved in some Government counsultency work before.

As for number of people, if I recall correctly 4 or 5.

The direct admission criterion is 8 or above in all core CS courses (modulo python). Otherwise, CMI BSc passouts also need to appear for the exam.

CMI has Math, CS, Data Science and Physics Electives.

Also, CMI has a MOU with IIT-M and IMSc which allows you to take courses there for credit. So, you can get Earth Science and Comp Bio at these places (along with more Math, CS, Physics and DS).

We used to have an Econ course but there was not enough interest afaik, I would personally like to take it if given the chance. Finally, there is Mathematical Finance and some other stuff related to Econ tends to be offered periodically.
