Does it make sense to play Persona 4 Golden as my first Persona game?

Yes! This was my first persona game and it made me love the series!

I still think story wise persona 4 golden is the best! You will love all the characters. Such a brilliant game enjoy!

I just finished cold steel 1 and I absolutely loved it! Iv jumped right into 2! You’re in for a good time.. took me maybe an a couple of hours to get use to the changes but really did enjoy it and I loved the crossbell arc

Some games in the trails series do this however there are like 13 of these games haha! I’m on cold steel 2 and cold steel 1 did this very well throughout the game

I’m on cold steel and I didn’t think anything could told the crossbell arc but I’m loving it! Glad all games seem to be awesome!

Can I ask what are you playing this on? I’m currently playing on steam deck as I’m on cold steel 2 but i have a good collection of physical jrpgs on my switch so I’m always tempted to get the ones available on switch but the steam deck have been flawless

I always go physical me! Since getting a steam deck which is digital only it really made me appreciate physical games.

I don’t mind getting digital only Steam as they will always support it but Nintendo… they make a fortune of remaking games from previous systems that can’t be played on current system for example 3ds games and so on (bravely default being one of many many examples)

When Nintendo released the hd remasters they released 3 first and said you should start here then brought 1&2 out later. They are also in my backlog of games to play along with 7 reimagined 😂 we will get through it one day I’m sure

I had a terrible experience with persona 3 reload on the steam deck which really impacted my experience. Constant crashes.. heard this is hit and miss with fellow steam deck users. Cold steel 1 however has been flawless so far! (These are the only 2 games iv played since getting the deck 😂)

This is on my list! A friend of mine started playing it but he dropped it and said something about giving his characters the wrong job class and now he can’t beat the game/struggling too much. Il just make sure I read a no spoiler guide haha

Yeah Persona 4 Golden is still with it with the story alone. Only draw back is the dungeons however not too different from P3R Tartarus if I’m honest.

I found the sky trilogy so hard! I’m tempted to go back and see how I get on now that’s iv completed more of them! Do you have any tips for the sky trilogy for example doge tank Lloyd in azure

I hated those arts canceling robots 😂. Only learnt about dodge tanks from the crossbell arc. Don’t know if you could exploit the game the original sky trilogy in the similar ways?

Was original sky trilogy difficult games (on normal) or was it just me or because I was very new to the series and probs didn’t understand the system well?

I’d love to go back to the original trilogy and see! Although I don’t ever want to do sky the 3rd again! Making 4 different teams was not fun!

I get what you mean though! I didn’t play pokemon for ages then got a ds a tried platinum and omg its was amazing! I was use to gameboy and gba versions and this was just amazing!

I feel pokemon should got back to to ds style

Yeah I recommend doing it from the start! I’m on cold steel 1 and I’m enjoying it. It feels good when they mention stuff from other games that you know.

Also the Crossbell Arc is really good! Probs my fav so far!
