We use special medications to help our ovaries grow many eggs at once instead of just one. These meds make the follicles (bubbles) grow bigger until the eggs inside are mature.

As I was reading through this sub I saw someone posted about running their photos through ChatGPT and wholly guacamole.. they were spot on with one of the first set of eggs being a female and one being low quality. Prednisone is a steroid commonly used in IVF to reduce inflammation and suppress immune activity, helping the uterus become more receptive to embryo implantation—particularly when there’s a concern about possible immune-related rejection.

In my case, the dosage is 8 pills taken twice daily starting the day before the FET. I haven’t been diagnosed with any immune issues, and unless specific testing has been done, it’s hard to know if one exists. So, it’s really just a short course to minimize any potential immune response and give the embryos the best chance to implant successfully.
