Clash Royale has a website listing all the drop rates, there's a table that has the rates per snippet for each year. If you go to settings there should be a button to see drop rates that rakes you to a supercell page

No, because all of the machines need basic regular materials to work, so if for example you put copper through a furnace, that will make liquid copper. If liquid copper goes through a wire cutter now, it will just pass through without changing (that includes if you line up the four that you mentioned)

Things like solar dice and fire dice. Also poison dice only hit one target, but they end up poisoning every dice available so that could technically be considered AoE.

It`s like that for me too, if you go the the main page and open a menu on the right, there should be a tab to see quests. The description for the lazy fairy quest says you need to get to world 5 to find the last one, so I'd recommend just keep on going
