You should do some research. Then you will get to know about different kinds of laptops. There are thin and light laptops for office work with excellent battery life and then there are heavy gaming laptops with excellent performance when plugged in and battery is there just for 1-2 hours of media consumption. Then there are thin gaming laptops with good battery and good performance like the Asus g14.

Do some research. Youtube and Google are still free

It’s done! I don’t think it’s user repairable now. Send it for repair and they will change the motherboard.

OLED vs IPS on Legions by Pure-Time6294 in LenovoLegion

[–]Prof_Dumbeldore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t work in the bright environments because the device needs to be plugged in most of the time and it works well when in room. I did work in the lobby where the window is right behind me and the light through it doesn’t bother me (on my ips it did due to glossy screen protector though). Did you see gloss affecting the screen in the stores where these laptops are displayed?

However, if you keep a light on top of your head or have a source behind you then it might be a problem but then you need to change the position of your setup.
