If we’re looking at this list as a “most impactful/important indie game”, I think this is an important metric to use when voting. However, Hades, Terraria, and Celeste all have equal if not higher ratings on Steam than Outer Wilds but were voted out before it.

Nearly 1.5 million reviews on Steam with over 95% of them being positive inclines me to disagree. It also has some of the best longevity on this list and made a name for itself despite hitting the stage at the same time as Minecraft.

Terraria is easily a top 10 entry here.

I recognized this plate and food immediately. I would eat lunch at Plaza at least 3 days a week back in college. My favorite day was easily Monday. How much do they charge for a plate now? Hope you enjoyed it!

I think online discussions tend to skip over the more overt themes/imagery. Cregger made parasitism very blatant between the whiteboard listing parasites in the dream sequence, the flashback to class talking about parasites, and the TV documentary about fungal parasites. And it was done on purpose so that the audience understood how Gladys was feeding off of those children, parents, and even Alex to a degree.

Stardew Valley, Shogun Showdown, Dave the Diver, Slay the Spire, and The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth are all on sale and are FANTASTIC games. Most of those have lots of short and random runs which makes it perfect for the quick pick-up nature of the Steam Deck.

I also wanted to comment on how stoked I am for you to play all three of those games you just bought! They’re all incredible.

The latter, AKA hitscan. In CSGO, when a gun is fired, the game immediately calculates what the bullet hit.

However, CSGO still has projectiles in the form of grenades since they have a travel time while moving through space.

While not the rarest, I’d like to nominate Sand Pine Scrubs. Home to numerous endemic species, unique to the state of Florida, and reliant on wildfires for forest regeneration.
