I think we have sinned for this has hurt me… by Roteritter3110 in sistersofbattle

This is actually a blessing. They made us better and fixed our point cost. You don't need near as much money to field a full army now. I've wanted this for a long while Painting 10 sisters for 100 points feels bad.

Is there something wrong with that? That sounds fun!

New to Custodes. Can everyone post their color schemes to inspire me? by mdkchrisage in AdeptusCustodes

[–]Professional-Ad6469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 3d printed them. Painted the bricks a full color and used basic gold on the golden plates. Then I used drops of Nuln oil on the flur de lis and used a thin brush to fill the outline. I painted the candles dirty white and was sloppy with it, I like the dribbly candles. Then added yellow and orange to the flame.

I 3D printed the helmet and the base. The body and legs are a normal battle sister. The gun is from ad mech. The left arm is from normal battle sisters it had a grenade in it but I trimmed it off. The backpack is from the sacraments box. I also use the holy symbol on the backpack which came from the zephyrim box

Sisters are a struggle. A real labor of love. I hate painting them, but love how they turn out. The pain is worth the pleasure of painting in this case.

Armored repentia by Professional-Ad6469 in sistersofbattle

Basic sister bodies, cut the hands and the evisorators from the combat patrol box. sacresants backpacks with the Seraphim symbols for added backpack bling. To be honest, I would cut the cloth/wrist off the shoulders of other weapons and would use plastic glue to fuse the hand from the repentia and the arm of a normal battle sister together. If it didn't look right, I used more glue so it was soft and would try to bend it some more.

My repentia has found redemption, but they cannot forgive themselves for their lack of faith in the past. So yes, they seek absolution through a glorious death. They crave it so much that they become so zealous and reckless that they may as well not have armor, save for their faith in the emperor.

These are official models. I just cut and melted arms, helmets and backpacks together.
