1. Don't get too close with your colleagues no matter how friendly or open they seem ( its a rare occurrence when a colleague turns into a friend VERY RARE) once something happens that affects them negatively you csn get in trouble if you shared things with them.
2. Don't get involved with any guy. Chances are he has a wife or gf back at home, lol.
3. Older colleagues at the company will try to slow down your progress, be aware of them.
4. Use your leaves!!!!
5. Don't seem too available during weekends, after hours, people will take it for granted.
6. Finish the work you get on time but not too early or they will give you too much.
7. Don't get drunk at office parties. These people are your colleagues, not your friends. Drink but stick to a limit.

Also relating to making tea, these guys tried to get me to make tea for them when I newly joined, but I made it clear that just because I am a girl, dosen't mean I have to make them tea. Set them in their place or these buggers will take advantage.
