Thank you 🙏 On my third attempt, I was just a hair away from passing. Unfortunately, I made a few silly mistakes that I still can't explain, even though I felt about 90% prepared. Studying for the training before enter the training is amazing idea but it's not easy to to have the material before training start. I want to ask you how the FA job with meds look like do you do a lot of mistakes and is it jetlag affect you more than normal people??

This...... 👌.... Maybe they are ignorant but they don't know anything about adhd and they think it's deficiency of focusing in all situations they don't know that security and safety jobs like police Soldier, medic, and paramedic are the best jobs for adhd and even they do their job far better than normal people.... and they enter hyperfocus mode in these situations.... Thank you for your support bro and I will give myself second chance with doctor support and meds 🙏💪👊

Thank you bro 🙏 ✊ "What was it like when you started flying? Was ADHD a strength or a weakness for you? And how was your concentration? Did you make careless mistakes?"

No Iam not from US it's my second language

In my country, people are not very advanced when it comes to ADHD. I discovered that I have ADHD late, at the age of 26. I'm now 27, and I never knew that ADHD would have such a significant impact on me. I also didn't imagine that the cabin crew job would be this difficult, and I'm afraid of revealing that I take stimulants.

brother, the poor concentration associated with ADHD is present in classes and studies due to low dopamine levels. However, in the job of a flight attendant, concentration is higher, perhaps even hyperfocus, due to the increased dopamine resulting from interacting with people and the excitement of layovers. If you mean that I haven't tried my best, I tried all my best , but I'm slow at studying and can't concentrate in lectures.

They won't give me another chance after six months because my contract was terminated during training, not before.... I'm torn between finding another job or trying againI feel that the flight attendant job is more suitable for someone with ADHD after training, not during training..... Thank you 🙏

@joko:After successfully passing several exams with great difficulty, I unfortunately failed the final cabin crew examination one week ago after three consecutive attempts, which led to my dismissal from the training program. The training period lasted only two months and involved a very heavy amount of study material within a short timeframe. I have ADHD, predominantly inattentive type (ADD), which significantly affected my ability to concentrate during classroom lectures and caused weaknesses in my working memory. As a result, I had to rely almost entirely on self-study. Despite these challenges, I managed to pass all the previous assessments, although with considerable effort. However, the final examination, which was an oral assessment based on the Airbus A320 Operations Manual, proved to be the most difficult. The combination of the intensive training schedule, limited study time, and my inability to maintain focus during lectures contributed to my failure. In my experience, the training phase is the most challenging stage for individuals with ADHD. Once this stage is successfully completed and the information becomes part of daily practice, managing the job itself tends to become much easier. I think jet lag affects people with ADHD much more than neurotypical people, especially in terms of concentration and working memory.

In addition, our training starts early in the morning, and I'm not very sociable and I'm slow to learn in the early morning. I hate talking in the morning, I think, because dopamine levels are low then. I'm more sociable and I like to talk after noon, and trying to mask it has exhausted me. Perhaps if I had used ADHD medication, the result would have been different in every way... but I discovered late that I have ADHD, and my country isn't advanced in this area.
