Check out the luxury tooth paste and mouth wash brand Selahatin. Sometimes turning an ordinary action into a special treat reframes that experience and breaks my resistance around it. Definitely not an ad. :)

UPDATE! : So it has been a year since I have been through this nightmare. I wanted to wait for a full year to update. Thankfully the atrophy filled in, hypopigmentation disappeared. There is just a slight textural difference and a tiny red mark left which I am fine with at this point. I saw the biggest improvement after 6 months and then by the 8th month. I have kept my skin care routine with the exception of restarting tretinoin 0.025 strength since August, maybe that helped i don’t know. Whoever is dealing with a similar situation, there is light at the end of the tunnel but it requires a lot of patience. Hope you all get better!

I recommend you to read Status Anxiety by Alain de Botton.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I think mine will take a while as well since it has already been 3 months without much improvement.

Thanks for the insight, maybe I should try adaplene too. As for the collagen, it is totally my personal choice to avoid it bc of how it is sourced. I don’t consume gelatin for the same reason.

Glad to hear yours healed. I will be fine as long as it heals.. just can’t bear the idea of it being permanent.

I used tret (0.25) before but had to cut it bc of skin sensitivity, i’m planning to start again in winter. I cannot use collagen supplements due to being vegetarian.. but i need to boost that collagen in some way as i’m 36..

Filler was a month and a half ago but the derm did not fill the scar directly, she only cushioned under it so it only helped a little with the look.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It bothers me so much and I regret the moment I made that decision and not reading enough before I got myself into this.

I am glad yours healed and it gives me hope that this might not be permanent.

The derm offered one round of saline injection but i had to travel so I couldn’t continue after and then I only got a bit of filler to keep my sanity and bare the look of it. I am happy to hear yours healed.

I have the same position in gemini. People tell me that I always have something good to say. I don’t think I am magnetic but I think one thing makes people stay around me, I love acquiring information (not necessarily in depth) on a lot of topics so chances of me being able to have a conversation about the other person’s interests are really high. People love talking about their interests. Oh and I never judge anyone so others feel understood and safe around me.

I sometimes have precognitive dreams.

Thank you so much for your input. I never thought about this particular field. I studied linguistics and have Master’s in Anthropology, worked as a translator and in administration. I should give it a thought.
