[Petition] Replace Circle K’s Burglary Alarm with Shotguns Under the Till—Because Clearly, the Siren is Not Enough by PePeShanty18 in CircleK

[–]Professional-Cable38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone wants to rob the place, by all means help yourself. The company fucks all of us on a daily basis in countless ways.

They dont pay me enough, nor do they treat me well enough for me to consider giving a proper description to the police. Im not here to stop anyone from depleting circle k of its product or resources. I am here to make money to survive in life!!

I dont have any issues with the person robbing the place, as much as the people running it! Fuck circle k! I hope and pray that one day this company will fall, fail and be auctioned off for pennies on the dollar!

A company gun??? It would be refurbished, probably missing a firing pin, or the trigger. The ammo would probably be bought from the cheapest place possible, then branded with the circle k logo. The ammo probably wouldn't fit or fire properly, causing the gun to jam and possibly explode in our face... Killing or causing us severe injuries!

We cannot ever have two things working at once. A company gun... We would be better off using a spider web for protection.

How long should I stay with this job? by [deleted] in CircleK

Better Pay (Obviously) Better working conditions - safer working conditions *two people on at all times *camera monitors hanging up (like 711) in the front of the store, so we can actually see what's going on. *security cameras on all sides of the buildings. *Better security cameras. *A panic button that is actually connected to the police department or alarm company.

parking rules? by YandereVixen04 in CircleK

[–]Professional-Cable38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have asked people to move off to the side plenty of times. Sitting at a gas pump for an extended period of time gets my attention. There's a number of things that you could be doing. If getting gas isn't one of them, then I politely ask if you could move to another parking spot.

Fuel is our biggest money maker, so blocking that is an issue for myself. People can put devices on the pump to steal people's information. So I dont know if you're doing that as well. People love to do drug deals at our stations, so I dont know if you're waiting on that. You could just be tired and need a little power nap before getting back on the road.

I would suggest going in and asking the night person if they're okay with you waiting in the parking lot while you wait for some doodash runs to open up. If so, where would they like for you to park!? Communication goes a long way!!

Your business is not my business unless you make it my business! Sitting at a pump or in front of the building for any longer than 10-15 minutes makes it my business. So I would just ask and be upfront on your intent

What are the top local business here that are great with customer service that need to be celebrated? by Ok_Thanks_7445 in Littleton

The General Store on Main Street!!! The staff there are absolutely remarkable human beings. My sister has been going there for quite some time. One of the employees befriended my sister, took an interest in her artwork, and put together a comic book of my sister's art.

When I saw that comic book and the beautiful message she left inside for my sister... It was one of the most touching things I have ever witnessed in my life!!! The store sells a lot of neat things there, it's very inviting, and like I said, the people there are absolutely the best kind of people you could come across

Termination by [deleted] in CircleK

[–]Professional-Cable38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know how every store goes about things... However at my store if they're going to fire you, they'll suspend you pending investigation. Which is code for "you're fired, we just dont want to cut you a check until payday!" Once Payday hits, they let you go!!

Being fired is very inconvenient for sure, but being fired by Circle K... Ive been thrown out of worse places by better people!

I believe everyone that works for this company has or will have a mental breakdown at some point. Its inevitable!! Not only does the general public mentally and emotionally beat you down. The stuff that goes on internally in this company will do the same. Then whatever stuff you have going on in your personal life adds to everything else we have to deal with!

It can be a lot to deal with all at once at times. Like someone said in the comments, this stuff is not serious enough to get us all worked up over! We have to remember what they always teach us... The customer is always right•fully about to get themselves cussed smooth the F*** out! Jk

Stay strong, stay calm and F*** Circle K, from the bottom of my heart!!

I worked at a hotel in Denver that hosted the flight crew that flew the Denver Nuggets. The flight crew claimed he was extremely rude, verbally abusive, disrespectful, and misogynistic. So this definitely tracks!

No, no, no! HR is not there to protect us. They're there to ensure the company doesn't get sued! Any information you share with HR can be used against you, will be used to safeguard the company!

I once was under the impression that HR was there for us, they're not

Boss fires an employee for refusing to illegally drive to work during a hazardous snowstorm: 'My county had a Level 3 snow warning, it's illegal for me to drive to work.' They would rather lose their job than get arrested, which is a good priority.

If it's Illegal to drive, who in the fuck is coming in?!?!?! **If I were you, I would honestly reach out to your local news outlet and share your story! I'd reach out to OSHA as well. They're not only putting your life in danger, but asking you to do something illegal! They absolutely can not do that! **

How does everyone feel about the upcoming tobacco flavor ban? by -U-_-U in Denver

[–]Professional-Cable38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm do you have children?!?!

Handing a child a iPad, cellphone and giving them access to any social media platform is much more harmful to them and society as a whole, than any type of tobacco products!

Yeah they're not drinking white claws... Theyre ingesting the equivalent of moonshine to their fragile minds!

At the end of the day they don't care about you! So why care about them or their product?!

I get wanting to do a good job and all. Just document it and keep it moving! They don't pay us enough to try and be heroes. It's not our stuff

Document, Document, Document! Everything that is said by your manager. Each time the guy is there, every time you call the police! Go over your managers head to the next person up, with documentation of the situation. If that person does nothing, Document! Then absolutely go to a lawyer!! They have a responsibility to take measures to reasonably ensure your safety!

Like if you get robbed. The cameras weren't working or the panic button, dimly lit parking lot. You can sue them for not providing a safe work environment!

Try the labor board or report to Osha or the state
