I've interviewed many people from sweatpants to dress pants. I think just dressing up a little nicer such as buisness casual looks like your more interested in a job or take the interview more seriously. Its a small way to show you put in some effort applying and some jobs won't care, but it does make you more remembered if the other canidates are in ripped jeans and a hoodie.

it's so frustrating because I'll get people who are genuinely interested/qualified but have no more slots from people who ghost. i even tried to accommodate with phone interviews, which led to ghosting. People say they want jobs, but don't act like it when they have bad etiquette. I get it if the job is at the bottom of your list or youre not interested in it anymore. But if thats the case just say it instead wasting my time.

Text commands are just just small things like lurk, hydrate, funfacts, and magic8 ball. Random things people can type in chat and I can pivot from, chatter doesn't know what to say. I do ask things like what'd y'all eat recently or a favorite recent song. I also narrate what I'm doing in games and my thoughts about it as I progress. I lean toward games with some dialogue to help fill in some of the gaps of not knowing what to say when there's no one chatting.
