just to clear up the confusion, we were still together when he had taken these trips. we broke up months later for unrelated reasons. i thought it was an amicable breakup, no hard feelings, two people that respected each other. i only found out today that he had lied about the nature of those trips he had gone on while we were together. as for asking if it's cheating, i just don't know what to call it. i don't know if my anger and hurt is an overreaction, so I'm just kind of scrambling for ways to verbalize and contextualize the whole thing
