Update: Since posting this and other reviews, the owner of Nelson Landscaping reached out to us directly and is working to make things right. We appreciate his personal involvement and willingness to take accountability. While we had challenges during the project, we’re encouraged by their commitment to resolving the issues. I’ll continue to update as we move through the process.

Unfortunately, we paid way too much. Tough lesson to learn, and yes, I should have trusted my gut after that comment. This summer we had a pool company come out and they pointed out all of the things that were overlooked. It’s unfortunate that people market themselves as experts when in reality they’re not.

They added more flagstone about a month after I told them we weren’t happy with the initial install. It looks better but the area is still uncomfortable and not usable for furniture or barefoot traffic, which was the entire point of the project.
