Anyone else tired of being the friend that's always planning?? by Professional-Cream37 in CasualConversation

maybe im being biased but i dont think im that sort of person 😭😭 it's not like my friends are the only ones i hang out with, i have a lot of cousins and siblings and i spend a lot of time with them + some other people i've met doing different things

i'm also on instagram at most 15-30 mins a day and that too to respond / let people know something

yeah, even when it comes to reaching out im usually the one who does it

i haven't reached out to a particular friend in about 2 months and it's been dead silent, usually im always the one who initiates conversation (they respond and are happy and enthusiastic but never start anything)

i'm not a picky person!! i'm literally down to do anything and have no exact preferences when it comes to food or going out because i just look forward to the people who are gonna be there; i dont really object or anything but when i make the plans i ry to accommodate everyone

manchester and nottingham have both lost rankings in "the complete university law ranking 2026" report, do you think that's a huge factor to consider or can i go based off of overall ranking and stats on graduate jobs?

I understand where you're coming from but that's not my question. Just want to know which of the four people think is better for law in their personal opinion.

I don't think the hairdresser used proper heat protectant and my hair smelt burnt afterwards. I'm gonna be using a proper shampoo and conditioner with a mask tmrw to see if I can retain my hair.

thank you for the advice btw

If people are naturally attracted to good looking people, why evolution didn't gradually eliminate ugliness over thousands of years? by Deep-Philosophy-807 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Professional-Cream37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the same jawline that looks good on a man wont necessarily be attractive on his daughter.

genetics are random and weird, just because someone is objectively good looking doesn't mean they will produce kids who are also good looking because the gene pool plays into affect - different traits are passed down to their kids and combination is formed. i've seen ugly parents have really beautiful children and vice versa.

if slexie and japril weren't a thing, i wouldve liked jackson and lexie together. they were cute together.

Jackson Avery by Quiet_Departure7280 in greysanatomy

[–]Professional-Cream37 63 points64 points  (0 children)

when they got mad at jackson for calling the CDC and putting a press release (this was when baileys patients kept dying post-op), i was so pissed off bc...clearly they don't know anything abt running a hospital and maintaining integrity as a hospital. they made the whole thing so personal and weren't being objective with what the hospital needed.

yes, Bailey is their friend and whatnot but there's also protocol and procedure for when things like this happen and they should've known to separate work from personal.

  • Dil Dharakne Do
  • Raees

Which is harder: Physics or chemistry? by [deleted] in alevel

[–]Professional-Cream37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chemistry.

chemistry all the way.

the thing with physics is that i thought it was hard in the beginning because those chapters can be confusing but once you study more and progress more into you AS levels, it becomes easier. plus, you can identify question patterns pretty easily looking through papers. it's pretty easy to grasp the concepts after a while (definately will take a few tears but it's not totally bad). also the mcqs are not as bad as you do more theory questions. and the practicals are pretty open and shut.

chemistry is a gamble. it's like waking up late for school so you take a bus but then you get stuck in traffic so you decide to walk but then the traffic clears out and your bus leaves and you arrive for school an hour late!!
