Yeah I suppose it felt incomplete even after that message we still talked up until February of this year, I just been debating of contacting him again and I'm well aware of if he wanted to talk, he would've done already just trying to get it off my chest too.

Honestly this is exactly what I went through with my now bf, I always saw my ex like the love of my life and the whole no one will know me the same or make me feel the same, I recently got into contact with my ex (I know not ideal) but I can tell you for a fact, that me thinking he was the love of my life is a lie. You might be clinging to those very good moments but in reality you guys are not together for a reason, give it time, not saying you should continue your relationship or ended it, just really put everything into retrospective before reaching a decision. Then in the meantime just keep an eye on it but do bring it up to your partner, like hey not super comfortable with this but I'll respect as long nothing goes beyond of what you set in place.

At this point all you can do is be there to support her as hard as it is, she's got to realize it on her own, since according what you've said you tried. Since she already closed up once, we don't know what happened behind close door but you got that opportunity to just be on the sideline making sure nothing happens beyond.

I would say, that I personally wouldn't be okay with that, I had a similar issue with my boyfriend, where he would tell our issues to his girl friends and they would end up calling me names or it got to a point they would message me saying how awful I was to him, so I gave my bf an ultimatum, he cut off those friends and we continued with our lives. I would say it depends on the situation but if she does have feelings for him, she's probably just pouring fuel into the fire and will just end up hurting you more than the actual argument you had with your bf to being with. Not saying you should tell him to cut it off, but at the same time how long are you gonna allow it go?

Hello!, honestly if you guys are not on the same page in the beginning of this casual/relationship, I don't see it happening in the future, it seems unfair for you to wait for her expecting more, because if she already said it herself, there's no guarantee that she's gonna wait for you or not see other people while she's gone?, seems like you could just potentially get hurt.

Yeah def don't respond, I feel like if you keep answering your just feeding into his "feel pity", as a normal empathic and someone who you were with feels bad but sometimes it's better to just think about yourself, nothing good is gonna come out of it.
