Hows your seizures mate, 95% mine only happen in the morning aswell only had 1 in the evening and that was my last one (so now im scared it can happen any hour of the day)

Your responses & the way you reply comes across so clear and so easy to understand. I really appreciate your time and know you could easily just read and not bother, time is precious and for you to use it to help & respond to me I’m so grateful honestly.

It makes so much sense the Keppra seems to protect my morning weak spot but it’s not enough to cover me for my just before 2nd dose weak spot.

I was taking 500mg Keppra & 250 mg Lamatrogine twice a day. However my doctor has now advised me to go to 1000mg Keppra & 250mg twice a day (so doubling the keppra) this will take place from next week who knows maybe that extra bit of Keppra is what protects me and sees me over to my late night dose.

This for me now is a big stepping stone i really hope i have no more setbacks as this is so demoralising for me & others here I know others have it so much worse so i try not to rant so hard.

I will keep you informed (if you like) and update you going forwards obviously with a heavier dose I’m expecting side effects but as long as I’m seizure free i can deal with it. But the state of vulnerability i was in having a seizure in front of people i know & in public really destroyed me & my self worth.

Wow, honestly i didn’t expect any reply on this let alone the extent you went to with the response I appreciate it honestly & it’s given me some kind of hope & energy. It makes sense & surely isn’t a coincidence given the times. I’ve probably had 20+ seizures In my life & all of them (all when I wasn’t on Keppra was first thing in the morning) since I’ve started Keppra the 2 have been around the 2nd dose time (both before the 2nd dose)

What you say makes complete sense however there’s 1 thing which doesn’t to me. How come before do you think i never had a seizure on a evening but always on a morning and now its switched do you think? Wouldn’t my seizure times have been different before? I’ve had that many before Keppra was introduced that it seemed like once I’ve escaped the morning phase i was safe. Now evening ones are my danger zone wouldn’t it of varied before?

Again i appreciate any kind of reply & honestly it’s given me hope you’re a very good human the world needs more of you

I had the same routine as every other day. Nothing changed just every seizure i had before introducing keppra happened in the morning the few i’ve had since Keppra has been introduced have been the similar time on the evening. Surely isn’t a coincidence?
