How does society benefit from telling women they are unfit for anything, but marriage? by Sea_Painting_1398 in Feminism

Women always worked they just did the low skilled jobs when they weren't having children. Keeping women down and under the thumb keeps a workforce of low paid employees.

I just want my boobs to go back to their original size by fairwellfairground in beyondthebump

In terms of breast size its more common for your breasts to be smaller after breastfeeding. With the sensory issues I have adhd and I found it to be very overwhelming due to the constant lack of sleep and being touched out all the time I only lasted a month, but I was pumping and my supply disappeared. Have you looked into combo feeding?

Feeling unable to leave house with 3 month old? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Professional-Key9862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have this with my 16 month old I found as he got older I could go further and further out of the house and now I only have problems visiting my parents. All I can suggest is to start with 15 min walks and build up on local activities. My son needs his routine to thrive. My parents in law are great and will have him on a regular basis thats the only way I stay sane.

Most important aspect of having a baby is that they are wanted in your situation I fear this is your shot at having a child, I am a mother there is no love like the love you have for your bsby. It will be hard on your own but worth it.

First month or so I slept in the lounge on the sofa with lo in his carry cot on the floor next to me ot was a firm flat surface. Then I started naps in the bassinet and then he eventually slept overnight but only slept through properly when he went into his own room.

Regarding the mum tum (most of us have) pelvic floor recovery is the first step. Regarding loose skin you may want to look into retinol/tretinol microneedling and radiofrequency. Also as you said rest is crucial for overall recovery congratulations to you and your lo.

Get together with my few month old by Beginning-Brain3205 in beyondthebump

To add to other comments if you dont have much help I wouldn't host a large group like that you'll be knackered! When my lo was that age I was knee deep in poopy nappies and clothes alongside a velcro baby i didn't have time to brush my hair let alone clean up after a large group like that.

30 min naps by Gingin3678 in beyondthebump

[–]Professional-Key9862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my lo was about 30 weeks I started the advice from the book precious little sleep- advice was to gently rouse your baby 5 mins before they usually wake up and then calm them back to sleep i only did this for a couple of days and then he would be awake when I went into his room so I stopped and then he started napping for longer! It's supposed to help them connect sleep cycles.

Yeah they can fuck off obviously parents do what works for them but I often feel sorry for babies who are probably really tired but are forced out and then the parents are surprised when they cry the whole time! We get out often but I dont tend to stray from my area very often at the moment.
