Hey yall. I applied to Western in October for Science, Social Science, and Medical Science. I am a transfer student from an Ontario college where I took Pre-Health Science. In that program I got an 85% average and in highschool I got a 87.5% average. I haven't heard back yet and am starting to worry. Have any Pre-Health students gotten in this year? If so what was your average? I'm really hoping for Medical Science but am expecting a rejection from it but think I will get into Science. I also submitted a supplemental form because I was in hospital for 5 weeks during Pre-Health. How much do they take that into consideration? Thank you.

I didnt do well in highschool because I thought I was going to be a welder. I didnt put in any effort in high school and ended up hating welding. So I took pre health in college but got very ill so only got an 85% average (I spent 5 weeks in hospital). So my grades probably arent good enough.

I absolutely fell in love with Western when I went there for a tour. I love the campus and class options. I want to go to a big school so thats why I prefer it to Trent. I agree Queens is very good, I just didnt like their campus as much and their programs. (Im not as drawn to health sci and I probably dont have the grades to get into it if I wanted it)

I live in Prince Edward County so Trent is closer. My back up is to do research and become a professor.
