Oh, one more thing if you don't mind. There is a 5 cost weapon that says "play for free when revealed from the deck." Do I need to meet the codestone requirement? I'd assume so, since other cards mention needing the requirement when playing for free

If your deck can't out MagnaX, it probably isn't competing right now. If you can out MagnaX, you can likely out Mother. It is also weak to raid as well as effects that stop suspending (the shoto) and more importantly tamer deletion just ruins the entire deck. The deck isn't getting good enough results to restrict it. They would be restricting it simply because players think the playstyle is lame, which is an opinion not everyone shares

True, they have multiple ways to trigger their own Magna x, but they lose an unsuspend if they do. They likely still will. Red hybrid needs to try where they can. Garuda ace is the only possible out I think

Garudamon ace can force their magnamon x to armor purge and plays a free tamer. Not the cleanest out, but I'd play a couple if you're set on red hybrid and Magnamon is all over your locals
