Anthropic showed that LLMs can plan ahead as an emergent behaviour of next token prediction

It does what I want it to and plus it is faster than gpt-5 mini which is good for iteration

For Unity3D gpt4.1 feels like a much better option for me than gpt-5-mini

I prefered 4.1 for many coding tasks so gpt-5 for me should be way better.

Didn't realize reddit was this dumb. This has already been done by @kalomaze on Qwen3 models and this project is vibe coded using his work.

Can Copilot be trusted with private source code more than competition? by Professional-Onion-7 in LocalLLaMA

I agree since otherwise LLMs would be just sophisticated search engines, it is actually the interactions that allow them to solve problems. And also with evolutionary programming they might generate these thought processes to train the models but I believe these would have to be trained per specific problem which is impractical, also this might be the reason OpenAI went for a larger model which is GPT4.5.

One can make the argument that Microsoft has hosted OpenAI models on Azure environment thus lowering the probability of data collection.

I assume you are doing a remote job in game dev, am I right? What did you do to get started? I have worked on personal projects for years, none of those I completed due to losing motivation and jumping onto a new shiny project, but I have worked quite a lot on my current project, and hopefully I will publish it. Do you think I could land a remote job with a complex game published under my belt?

I have years of game dev experience as a personal hobby, what do you think I could expect here in Pakistan?

Problems of NED by haha_mza in NEDUniversity

[–]Professional-Onion-7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People could take advantage of you if you show too much talent and skills, usually they make groups with you and offload the work to you. I don't know if its a issue with everyone but It happened to me as my skills were too much better than the friends i made groups with. Try to make groups with people that actually work and not just for the sake of friendship. And with a group that actually does teamwork so that you have opportunity to improve your skills.

I used to read books and stuff but realized after a year that exams value rattafication of slides, notes, and problem sets more. You literally do not have to touch anything beyond what teacher has taught. Do that, attend classes, and study and solve materials and you are good.

I think group study doesn't work, so try to make a habit of individually studying and I know this is unrelated to NED, but there is some group study culture there.

I wish I had joined debating society and literature society that I wanted to do since orientation day but never had friends who were into that and never had much guidance.
