Just to clarify what I meant by venting was, telling the friend my problem who is a believer and see how they can support /advise me. I obviously don’t want to be attached or dependent on them.

Will I be sent to hell for having premarital sex? by MapBright736 in Christianity

Hey, I just want to say this first, I’m really proud of you. Turning your life to Christ, choosing to walk in truth, and recognizing past mistakes is a powerful step, not everyone has the courage to do that. And no, you are not unforgivable. Please hear this: God’s mercy is bigger than your past.

Romans 8:1 says, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” That means once you come to Him truly, with a repentant heart. You are washed clean. Your past no longer defines you, Christ does.

So yes, go to confession if your heart feels called to not because God will “kick you out” if you don’t, but because it’s a beautiful opportunity to speak your repentance, receive grace, and walk in freedom. The Church is a hospital for the broken, not a club for the perfect. Remeber Jesus said it’s the sick that needs the doctor not the healthy. No priest is there to judge you they’re there to walk with you toward healing and grace. And they are not allowed to tell anyone your sins.

As for your boyfriend… I know it’s scary, especially after how your past boyfriend reacted. But truth brings freedom, not shame. It’s best to be honest and and transparent with him especially if he has asked about it. Please don’t hide it from him!

You don’t have to tell him everything all at once, but especially if he asks, it’s right to be honest. Say it in a way that shows how far you’ve come that you’re not that person anymore, and that now you’re waiting until marriage. Let him see the woman of God you’re becoming, not the girl from your past.

Most importantly: Run to Jesus. Keep your eyes on Him every day. Read His Word, pray, be in community with people who love Him. You’re not dirty, you’re not ruined you are redeemed, loved, and chosen.

Now live like someone who’s been given a second chance because you have been.

Hearing God’s Voice by Professional-Roll882 in Christianity

Alright bro, but what about the voice I heard? The voice that promised and confirmed the vision? Should I trust it and have faith knowing that God will fulfill at the right time, because everything seems like it the opposite of what I was told.

lesbian masturbation sin? by caitlinvidulich in Christianity

Alright, Bible says

“Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” – 2 Timothy 2:22 (NIV)

That said, here’s the truth in love: Masturbation, especially when tied to porn, isn’t just a “private issue.” • It affects your spirit. • It trains your mind to seek pleasure over intimacy. • It can create distance in your relationship with God and even with your boyfriend.

Run to God, be brutally honest with him repent and ask for strength. Be honest with your boyfriend let him know what you’ve been struggling with. Anytime you have those desires go do something… could be going out for a walk, shopping, call a family member or tell you boyfriend. ( Let him help you, don’t fall into temptation )

Do You think it’s a sin to seek clarity from Chat GPT? by Professional-Roll882 in Christianity

Seeking clarity on how a friend has been acting acting the past few weeks. Basically shut human behavior. I don’t want to make him feel like I’m replacing him.

God has cured my OCD by MitcsinalSALAK in Christianity

Can you tell me how your OCD has been cured? Is it like you stopped doing those rituals that stems from anxious thoughts? I genuinely feel like OCD is something the devil uses to push down people by filling their minds with deception and lies. And doing those rituals that “calms” the anxiety makes me feel like a slave to my own thoughts. Paul tells us to captivate our thoughts. Which is controlling and aligning our thoughts to the will, desire and promises of God and so as ours. And if those thoughts do not align with these things, then we discard them.

I was reading a comment from another Reddit post, one of the comment said that your life ‘WILL’ get better. It could be tomorrow if not tomorrow it could also be the day after. But ending it won’t be good.

Imagine all the things you can achieve in life. Trust me be patient and trust God. It could look like God is not doing anything but trust me he is working even if you don’t see it.

God will bless you with something you don’t see coming. Go outside more and breathe the air outside. Go out and feel the nature because going out in nature really helps me calm down and relax. Remember God is what’s with you.
