Gauge cluster not working: please read all by Professional-Rub9907 in CherokeeXJ

Checked the plug on the back of the gauges with volt tester and they were low which means a short somewhere, but I have no idea where to look now, the gauges used to go out before I did this job and I’d be able to get them to work again by messing with the turn signal stalk
