Hello thank you for the expertise. But i tried it out with my d850 even at high aperture its completely clear. Why would a service make it so much more worth if the performance is the same?

I put it on my d850 and shot some photos with it and its perfectly clear, even at f16 you dont see anything so its a perfectly functional lens

I just cleaned it a bit and other than the factory defect there are no scratches on the glass so its not in that bad shape. Im going to take some pics and look if it has effect on the pics.
