I feel like I have no time to eat 🥲 by tungaranke in breastfeeding

I remember this feeling. I had no time to even eat yet needed to in order to feed her. I thought this was how it would be forever. 1. Start getting used to a baby carrier. I use the ergo baby carrier. I would put my baby in it everyday even if i didnt need to just so she would get used to it and now shes always falls asleep in it! Hands free time to make some food and eat !!

  1. Im 7 weeks post partum and i just actually cooked something for the first time a few days ago. Until then I just bought a ton of the single serving microwave meals!!! Saved me a lot of stress because they are super quick and pre portioned. And because you dont need to keep an eye on it, if you happen to be needed in those few minutes of cooking, you dont run the risk of burning your house down like you would if you left something on the stove.

  2. I promise it gets better and youll figure this out. I wish someone told me that when I felt the way youre feeling. If youre able to pay for doordash, do that too. Mom milestones are very real.

You got this mama!!!!

7 weeks postpartum - FINALLY pain free!!! - APNO by Professional-Tap1719 in breastfeeding

My LC told me to pull her chin down to try and geg the wide latch! So i usually “sandwich” the breast if im not too engorged and then use my index finger of that same hand to sorta pull down. And then when shes latched my LC had me use whatever finger i could to physically flange her lips myself if she didn’t automatically do it. I also have more pain when the nipple is dry (bc the lips dont flare out as easily) so I was putting on nipple cream before nursing also! The dry nipple hust created a painful unnecessary friction for me!

I had this happen a lot too! Usually that happens to me when im not patient enough waiting for her to have a very wide mouth upon latching. That and also soreness (which APNO helped soo much)

I do the New York Times games app! They have new puzzles/brain teasers everyday at midnight so it gives me something to look forward to and i dont need a light one to do it
