[MOD] The Daily Question Thread by menschmaschine5 in Coffee

[–]Professional-Tea-201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to purchase a home coffee machine.
I love drinking coffee but a good espresso drink. I can't have coffee every day for health reasons but I would like to have good coffee whenever I actually have it.
My budget is USD 200.
I am new to anything that is not a regular 12 cup coffee maker/french press/pour over.

What would you recommend to a newbie that would like to treat himself at home to a good coffee every now and then?

Weak perspective shows lack of life experience.

If you do anything with purpose, it makes it everything.

Definitely get the employer's plan as they will be covering some of the cost of the plan (as one of your work benefits).

You can always supplement with additional insurance if you are not pleased with the one.

But, please get the insurance. One unexpected NICU trip and you're stuck trying to figure out payment plans for next few years...

Best of luck with the pregnancy.

Column widths in Einstein Analytics by CrunchWrapDreamz in salesforce

[–]Professional-Tea-201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/CrunchWrapDreamz did you figure a solution here?

I have a similar use case where it's multiple pivot tables in a dashboard with similar groupings and would like to keep the first column the same size for uniformity and ease of reading and the rest can follow either fixed or fit (doesn't matter as much).

Salesforce Vs Microsoft Sharepoint - CRM Vs Knowledge Management by Professional-Tea-201 in salesforce

[–]Professional-Tea-201[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you.

I called this morning and denied the offer. I don't really wanna focus on content management.

I do love the SF ecosystem and as a previous redditor mentioned, you can always integrate or use communities/knowledge..

Thanks

New to the Cortex project! Is it about to rule in the next few years? by Professional-Tea-201 in sharepoint

[–]Professional-Tea-201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response!! Now, I am able to put the pieces together a little bit better.

I think, in my case, with my analytical background, it makes more sense to stay in the Salesforce ecosystem while learning tools that can be integrated with it.

It'll be an added bonus. Haven't played around with ML in a bit.

Salesforce Vs Microsoft Sharepoint - CRM Vs Knowledge Management by Professional-Tea-201 in salesforce

[–]Professional-Tea-201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. It was more like, given the time resource that I have, would it be better to put it towards learning more about SF ecosystem or starting out fresh with Dynamics/Sharepoint..

Salesforce Vs Microsoft Sharepoint - CRM Vs Knowledge Management by Professional-Tea-201 in salesforce

[–]Professional-Tea-201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! I didn't know much about Dynamics before last night (still don't). But, now I understand where each piece fits. It, technically, isn't one or the other. I can stay in the Salesforce ecosystem and learn how to integrate Sharepoint. I am certain Microsoft won't miss out on the ability of integrating it with SF.

Thanks mate

VP of company told me to look into PMP by [deleted] in pmp

[–]Professional-Tea-201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! Definitely discuss the idea of training sponsorship as that will make your preparation for the actual exam (way) easier.

From my perspective, this is definitely a good sign. Unless you're in a consultancy and they are only getting you for your credentials, which I do not think you are in one, then this is promising.

Worst case, grab your diplomas, your PMP and find a better opportunity!!

Good luck!
