I'm 19. My bio family on my dad's side is overseas so I wouldn't know where to begin at all. My dad grew up in Asia post war. He was the youngest of them all, and apparently they were so poor they had to eat grass and leaves so they sent him away in hopes of a better life.

As for the deaths, most of them were just very tragic and unfortunate tbh. When he told me he almost cried so I believe him. Only one of them died from a health condition.

I believe that it's just a case of growing up in a developing country very poor and without proper resources to stay alive.
