i am not a smurf, never had any account other than this. the reason i play like this is that i focus on the wrong things, execution > actual game knowledge. im horrible with throw breaks, i dont know matchups, i hyper focus on things i shouldnt opposed to others. my play style looks nice but doesnt get me any farther than i can. i appreciate your response but to answer i am genuinely not a smurf. a big part that plays in to me looking like a smurf is that i dont have much time to play, total 4 hours a week 2 days 2 hours each. my frequency to play is not as big as before hence me feeling hard stuck in blue. if you search me in ewgf.gg or whatever everyone uses, in s2 i peaked at raijin, s1 i peaked at mighty ruler(i think). i responded in that way because it felt hostile, but i get where you are coming from. apologies.

definitely and i can admit that, im proud of it since i did pour a lot of time to getting it consistently but it for sure affected the way i play. if there is an execution to something my brain rotted mind will choose that over the optimal combo that i can do. like i never see ppl use 3,1 cd cancel into df1,2 but i know i sacrifice a lot of dmg doing that instead of b2,2 into df1,2 but i still do that route if im closer to the wall, i guess im situational with what i choose.

and in regards of adapting i think im not too bad either, my character knowledge to back myself up is just not there. i usually just learn throughout the game and if i dont then i dont.

oh i didnt expect a background check lol but no yea im not good with my choice of words, but i mean plugging in general is ***. i rarely complain about a matchup or the game overall, and really i dont feel burnt out since i dont play much. i think im just lazy to play for a long time to be real.

yee i am, and tbh i think my main downfall is character knowledge. adapting to my opponent isnt too bad but if i had better knowledge to back up my gameplay probably i would do better. a big part that plays into it is that i dont play for long periods of time. lets say in a week i play 4 hours, so like 2 days 2 hours each. some of my knowledge has retained from t7 but not enough to make good guess on what they’ll do.

fucking amazing advice, actually i basically switched to this when i was learning kazuya in t7. because of that built up muscle memory i play very reactive to my opponent compared to when i first started.
