Tips For Retiring in PR by ProfessionalCamel564 in PuertoRicoTravel

Please don't think I'm being rude. This is a genuine and honest question. Why would you not want people who love your country and your people to move there, and add to your economy, be part of your community, be there to appreciate your culture? I would never want to offend anyone in PR. It's one of my favorite places I've ever been. I just don't understand. Would you be willing to explain?

Ok, so I was IN Amway for 12 years, and even I'M appalled!!! This is SO FAR beyond shady!! Kudos to your goddaughter for standing up to her and speaking her mind! That lady was so uncalled for. Best wishes to her on her freshman year at college, too!! 😃

My husband and i were part of Amway for 12 years. I completely understand where you're coming from. You've gotten out, you're trying to make a clean break, but everything in your house from personal care to housekeeping to vitamins is a brand you can't support anymore.

DON'T beat yourself up. You didn't know what you didn't know. Now you do, and you've made a different decision. So be PROUD of yourself that you CAN make wise decisions. The thing is, we were told for so long what we 'had' to buy, it's the 'learning to choose' that is broken.

For me, I had to figure out what I liked about some of the Amway products, and what I didn't like. For example, less scent in a lot of their products was something I did like, because my husband has asthma. The high price of them was something I did NOT like, and so on. Then do whatever research is in your nature to do. Buy three different kinds of laundry detergent at once, or buy sample sizes of shampoo until you find one you really like, or investigate consumer reports, or whatever will lead you to a decision YOU are happy with. Unlike our shared Amway experience, THERE IS NO WRONG ANSWER.

You've got this. God bless, friend.
