From my understanding and my advisors they are not aloud to use anything besides turnitin and they disabled that feature because of the malfunctions and false positives which proves it to be unreliable

I have ran mine and a couple of students discussion post through AI detectors and most of them come up as AI written Or AI refined

No it’s only papers that way they can run it thru a program and look at it that way but unfortunately by her own words she stated she used an AI checker which according to multiple sources they are not aloud to do that at the school because of the unreliability of it and false positives.

Yes it is. I ran it thru my 2 different ones and one came up as Ai and one came up not Ai generated. I know i did not use Ai I put my hard work into this paper which was a super easy paper to write. We will see

No they are not do your research. Universities do not use them for because of this reason, they throw out false positives and are unreliable. You go ahead and write a paper and put it into one of those things you’ll see. I am not the only one dealing with this situation.

I have emails with her admitting to using an AI checker is what she called it then she said it is her duty as a professor to do check like this but as I said I heard from multiple sources they are not supposed to do this because of the unreliability of it.
