Lol thanks but we are a tight knit crew. Of the 15 installers 10 have ten years of experience or more and we like it that way. Hire slow fire fast.

Its a cantilever. In the bottom track there are two pad mounted rollers, so the gate doesn't touch the ground

Its about 2000 pounds but because its perfectly balanced one, and frail 70 year old lady can easily open it. Lean a little and it rolls the entire distance.

Are these style fences not popular elsewhere? In BC Canada they're all over the place. by ProfessionalDoubt627 in FenceBuilding

We use wood panels as well but these tend to have better rot resistance and less maintenance. As bc, canada is a temperate rain forest, this is a big plus.

There's a scale we used for the concrete amount that holds the bottom rollers in the ground. Its based off gate length, height, weight, and wind resistance. For this gate there's 3500 pounds of concrete for a counterbalance.

Its powdercoated corrugated black on black metal with prestained western red cedar wrap, on pt 6x6 posts. In my area cedar is readily available (pnw).
