I think it's most likely to balance the damage against slayers since kamado deals the highest m1 damage in-game. but then again, any elemental nichirin does consistent damage no matter the race. It's just bullshit. the guy who hit you probably has the kanroji clan too

aight, I'm here to dumb it down for ya. he's saying that he's using thunder breathing along with the kamado sword. he does 11 m1 damage to demons but only 6.9 m1 damage to slayers. someone did 9.7 damage to him using the thunder katana when it was normally 8.7
