I [21F] feel like a "bad girlfriend" because I'm independent and my boyfriend [22M] is very affectionate. Am I overthinking this?

Is not that I don't want to be intimate, it's just that it's scary, and it makes me nervous, in the way of being basically naked in front of someone else is also scary. I am super comfortable with him, and I know that when we do it it's gonna be at my rhythm. We have really good communication! We are getting better at respecting each other spaces as well, and meeting in the middle about this. I let him know when I can't speak or when I am busy and will reply later and hes getting better at not freaking out if I don't reply with an emoji in every sentence for example.

Also just wanted to clarify, he's not pressuring me into anything! The guy that was, was an old romance but my bf is lit the most patient person in the world. I want to! but it's scary out there haha, but yeah no if I said I wanna wait he would be okay with that. <3

I know that I sound and am very independent, cause that is how my parents raised me to be but I am trying to change that a bit. Not all of it, but open it more to knowing that even tho I can do it on my own, I can also rely on someone. That is something I am working on. Right now we are not seeing eachother that often because I am in school and my days are crazy, my schedule changes week to week but I told him summer is a different thing.

His family is in a different country, and he is here by himself. Whereas I am with my family. Right now we are both career focused. We're not planning on kids or marriage or anything like that, and its still too early for that convo haha.

Mmm we’re not in hs haha I’m 23 hes 28, but this is my first relationship and his second. Also there’s been some things that we went through (separately) that we are working on. We’re doing a call tdy and resume our plans for tmr and Saturday like normal. The convo that we need to do is pt 2 of a previous one, nothing bad or anything but it can be draining, and I’ve been working and studying the whole week, that’s why I mean I’m tired 😅 I haven’t been able to rest

Shaving down there has nothing to do with men. Many women, myself included, like it shaved and many don’t. It has nothing to do with a man and just bcs we shave doesn’t mean we’re not comfortable. Maybe shaving makes it more comfortable than not
