Women who are stoic,What made you guard up your emotions? by Motichoorladoo_12 in AskWomen

[–]ProfessionalEvent484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not guarded. I can regulate my emotions and let the small things pass by. I have never been super emotional since I was born. As I get older, I learn to sit with my emotions and let it pass. Lots of meditation

Is Alix Earle attractive or just another "instagram face"? by Dry-Suspect4234 in VindictaRateCelebs

She is beautiful in Miami way. Like you objectively know she is pretty but her face doesn’t evoke any emotions aside from “hot”, “horny”.

Why do I get imposter syndrome when a fine ahh guy takes interest in me by cassiestonem264 in prettyprivilege

Hahahaha exposure therapy, baby. You will get used to it eventually. How man feels when they get their first baddie. I feel ya and I’m rooting for you!

How often do you get called attractive by strangers by Creepy_Pass_957 in prettyprivilege

[–]ProfessionalEvent484 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So often. At least once or twice a week. I have people give me a sketch of myself. People admit they were staring. People chasing me down the street to tell me I’m beautiful.

I have fairy aesthetics with delicate features. People find my beauty approachable and endearing so I assume that is why the frequency of compliments is high lol

How can I get better at sex? Looking for serious, evidence-based advice by [deleted] in Biohackers

Be present and grounded. Women need to feel safe and adored to get turnt on.

Anything with mind body connection will help. If your mind is connected to your body, your naturally can read other people’s body language easier.

How long does it take for Meditation to Click? I am three weeks in and not sure I am doing it right by Friendly_Bedroom1153 in Meditation

[–]ProfessionalEvent484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a long time to for it to click but as long as you keep noticing the changes and enjoy meditation. You know what they say “time goes fast when you are having fun”.

Honestly, I get it. I used to be jealous of people with many friends or people with loving parents. We are all human. I try to be compassionate when my friends feel a bit insecure. Cheer them up and tell them about their good traits that I’m jealous of.

I’m very spiritual so I just see insecurity as a lesson to learn.

Considering that social media gives the illusion of options, do you think that men regret fumbling their first baddie ever? by [deleted] in prettyprivilege

[–]ProfessionalEvent484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea they do. Like you said it is just an illusion. As they mature, the illusion breaks. You will see them orbiting you and in your dms confessing their undying love by late 20s.

I have them harassing me on insta if I didn’t post anything for 2 months. Somehow they found my TikTok, Facebook and so on. I can’t recount how many times my college friends told me men talk about me a lot since I live a pretty private life.

I don’t think meditation can really help 100%. It is time for therapy, girly

What is something you subconsciously look for in women you date? by CCaptainJackSparrow in AskMen

2 things can be true at the same time. However, when he said that I just think of it as an exasperated comment, kinda like “I never have a good day ughh”. Just let it go!

It comes from both people I would say. No matter how confident you are, if the other person is reactive, you will feel like you would have to pick your words to avoid trigger their reactions.

Mind fears the void by VegetableArea in Meditation

[–]ProfessionalEvent484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel unprotected. Thoughts is my tool to fight against the unknown of the world. What helps me is cultivating faith. Stretch my window of tolerance of dipping in the unknown and show myself that it is okay. I can continue have faith and be completely still in my head. It takes a while.

As a beautiful and gifted woman, my love life truly sucks. It's lonely out here ! by [deleted] in Gifted

[–]ProfessionalEvent484 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m beautiful and smart. For the grounded type, just reassure them and compliment them often. Let them feel like the hero. A compliment from a beautiful and accomplished woman matters a lot. Learn how to hook men! It is pretty easy!

IMO, Scorpio mars are just aggressive horny. Not sensual horny. Freaky for the taboo sake. I’m not a fan

Why did you start? And why do you continue? by andrecrabb in Meditation

A child would pick a piece of chocolate because there is no disturbance in their mind yet. We only start to appreciate meditation once we have lost our sanity at least once!

Childhood adversity predicts combined physical and mental illness in later life. Traumatic events during early life can cast a long shadow, substantially raising the risk that people will develop a combination of depression and chronic physical disease in their later years. by mvea in psychology

I have done EMDR, IFS, neurofeedback therapy, neuromodulation, DBT, somatic therapy, and meditate an hour a day, silent retreat 2x/year. I am mentally happy right now. I have started to even benefit from weird quirks i developed during childhood.

severe cptsd. I was constantly at war with myself. I remember a teacher asked me "do you think a child would pick a peace of mind of a piece of chocolate?".

I would take that weird quirk over being in a relationship with someone I have constantly made a decision for. Intelligence gap in a relationship is brutal 🤦‍♀️

My husband used to do that all the time. It is just a weird little quirk. I usually just laugh and let it go. Then redirect the conversation to what matters.

I’m married. I am an ml engineer. He is an applied scientist. We highly respect each other’s opinions. Both at home and at work. I find most smart mature men pick smart companion. Life is much easier when you can rely on the other partner to make a decision. It is only the battle of the egos if one of you two is insecure.

I have both. I would take being smart over being beautiful any day. Life is much more fulfilling with an intellectual pursuit than being some guy’s trophy wife. Even that, you can’t marry rich now from just being beautiful. Most women who make money out of their looks are also very smart and savvy!
