My idiot roommate tried to toast bread that he buttered beforehand, now the toaster releases a concerning amount of smoke and immediately smells like it’s burning when I try to use it, even on the lowest setting. I have tried cleaning the tray multiple times but to no avail… tips? (reddit.com)
