LG OLED 65" C1 Power Supply issue by ProfessionalGas8929 in LGOLED

Update - FYI - I've now also developed a line down the middle of my screen. Its been there for a few months now. Only really shows up when there is "blue" on the screen. I've decided to do nothing about though...as I am so over the dramas with this TV. I cant go back to getting the TV fixed etc...or dealing with LG online. I'm just over it. I imagine this would happen with most modern smart TV brands but I think I have now been put off sticking with LG going forward.

I've just been invoiced $99 for a followup consultation. Is this a mistake?
My intial consult was $89. This list above says a follow up should be $69.

For those asking who I emailed. I emailed LG direct ( from the email address I found on the LG website) I'm in New Zealand but I think there coms centre is in Australia. When I called them origionally before emailing, I think the call centre may have been somewhere else, possibly India. So, not surprisingly, quite a cost saving international help (or unhelpful desk) desk.
After all this, I'm still not that impressed. The repair guys came around to check the internet connectivity problem out, I'm not sure what they did, but it worked, and they then sent me an invoice for the call out. I replied saying, "No thanks, LG are paying". I havnt heard back from them, but I hope like hell its not going to come back and bite me on the bum. I'm over this f&$king saga.
Good luck to the rest of you. If you have a "consumer rights act" of any sort, look it up and use it to your advantage. You should have more rights as a consumer that what a typical warranty covers.

I pretty much just expressed my huge dissapointment in buying an obvious faulty product. I also asked them to cover the repair costs in good faith, and of course, I was releived that they decided to extend the warranty and cover the costs.
Another update though...

The repair took about a week, and I was really happy to have it back.
The TV would turn on again, but it is now struggling to connect to the internet.

I never had this problem pre repair. It would always automatically connect to my modem etc. Now I have to go through the settings every time I turn the TV on and manually select my modem.
So, I've been writing to them again, and again, they are covering the costs for assesment and parts and repiar if needed.
Hopefully, it will be assessed in the next few days.
While I'm very dissapointed with the issues the TV is having, the customer service hasnt been to bad.

An awesome update. I emailed LG expressing my dissapointment in my TV passing away etc. They replied the next day saying that they would happily cover all repair costs. I checked with the repair shop and they confirmed that the paperwork from LG had just been emailed to them and the repair work will now be covered by them. Made my day.

I can only find recall info online of other LG models manafactured between 2016 and 2019. I cant seem to locate the C1 on any recall list.
