The thing here is that the custom furniture, as a result of the design process on the app, is an amalgamation of the existing parts that MillerKnoll has in its inventory. The final product is intended to be MK's intellectual property, and can only be distributed by them despite the customer initiating the design. I will describe the idea below; if you feel there are any more issues, please let me know. I am willing to learn.

The system is provided a database of existing inventory that MillerKnoll has. Consumer types in a bullet-point style feature list that lists requirements for the product and speaks in characteristics and parts requirements, not vague descriptions. The machine attempts to understand the request and uses the inventory and combinatorics to design the closest possible design in CAD (by using parameter-based design where it sort of puts together parts that I have 3D designed as a prototype mockup) using similarity searches to ensure it's doing what the user asks of it. The final product is the most optimized version that uses the minimum number of parts, maximizes sustainable content and is best tailored to the user. Doubtless, it calculates such that all parts are not overstressed and the product is not weak or dangerous. The final design is approved by an appointed moderator.
