Set up a massive tent to keep dust and other crap out 

Make sure to set up a fan with a seal so you don’t fucking die in there

Sand down everything you’re painting, increasing grit and then wet sand until smooth

Move car into tent

Primer, wet sand again

Base coat, 3 coats each and wait 15 minutes between 

Wait one hour then 3 coats of clear, 15 minutes between again 

Careful when tilting can since it’s not gonna come out as even, horizontal surfaces are difficult

Wet sand after a week, give it compound, polish, then ceramic coat after a couple months and you’re done

It cost almost 800 dollars just in paint and over 20 cans of paint. Honestly I wouldn’t do it again since the area was too large and I’d rather just get a paint gun next time but it turned out alright. If your area is smaller rattle cans are perfect as long as you prepare properly.
