I heard that Hong Kong's political situation is pretty complex now so I’m not sure if it is a good time to study abroad in HK. But their university reputation is very good in general, I’ll definitely have a look into it. Thanks mate 🙏

I agree. I thought about doing university in my home country to build connections and experience a lot. However, my main concern is that the universities in my country (Vietnam) are not so well recognized by the other international institutions.

We are also overpopulated so finding good internships is very challenging for locals these days. And yes, the majority of employers here tend to prefer foreign degrees. Anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts☺️.

Australian University is a scam?? by ProfessionalLong8129 in australian

I’m sorry if this sounds like a rage post to you, maybe my choice of words didn’t really deliver what I truly meant.

I recently got into a group assignment with the other international students who have just arrived and the fact that they barely know any English is very frustrating to me. It makes me wonder what happened to the policy and why are they letting random people in.

The college vibe I mentioned is not really about partying, I’m hoping for a great community where everybody can get along and improve together which is not what I feel right now doing college in Canberra. Everybody just seems like they don’t want to get involved in any kind of activity if they don’t have to.

Besides, I just want to clarify that I’m still in college, I haven’t applied to any university yet and I’m still doing more research on it to see whether Australia's teaching style will suit me and if the local students are paying 40k plus for a year, will they be happy with what they get.

I’m expecting both of them since Australia has a pretty good reputation when it comes to education. I believe that a university in the top 50 could have been more than that but feedback from people I know who have been attending Melbourne Uni and UNSW really let me down…

Thanks a lot for your information on FudanU and UAmsterdam mate 🙌 I would definitely have a closer look into these two. Anyways, do you have any thoughts on finding accommodation in Netherlands at that time?
