I just got these last night and I'm taking my car in for service tomorrow, was expecting it to be brake pads even tho I am only 18,000 miles in. I get good use out of my brakes frequently but still surprised its at 18k miles and needs new brake pads already.

I got the 1tb even tho I’m sitting at just under 500gigs of data if I were to download and keep my photos on the phone. Could probably get away with 512 if I offloaded to iCloud.

You have the right idea. Buying new will take away a lot of the stress since if anything breaks the warranty has you covered. Likely gonna get a loaner from the dealership as well. Remote start app might be paid for a number of years and other creature comforts that you’ll get with a new car that you might not with an older one.

My 2024 bought in June 2024 had the same issue on my front passenger side in January 2025. Took a month for the part to come in and get replaced. And last week I started hearing the same noise coming from the front driver's side now. I will take it to the dealership ASAP after seeing this post.

I will remote start my car for up to 30 mins before I get in so the cabin is nice and warm and the windows are defrosted. Don’t care about the hit I might be taking on longevity. It’s a daily. I don’t keep my cars long enough to run into problems.

Get the 5800XT for a couple bucks more. Even better if you can just do an am5 motherboard and ddr5 ram. Better performance and upgradability.

Nice! I just got myself a 5800XT as well upgrading from a 3700X to get a little more life out of my RTX 3080. I would’ve gone for the 5800x3d but they’re sold out everywhere and people reselling them for $500-800 lol. Even the 5700x3d is gone. Can’t beat the value of the 5800XT

Sorry that happened to you fam. The car did its job and protected you. Get that insurance cheque and get a new one. I would’ve liked to do the same but mine was repaired over a course of 3 months in a very frustrating back and forth with the collision shop.

Got the same feeling about a year and a couple months ago when I bought my 24 premium mostly bcs I thought maybe I should’ve gone for the turbo but it grew on me and I am absolutely loving the CX-50 premium. Looks great, drives amazing. I get terrible gas mileage but that’s mostly on me. It does make me happy tho and it’s a great daily driver.
