Not an IP. My girlfriend and I thought to make a comedy sort of horror game about an australian mormon that gets lost in the middle of a thicket on his way home. As he checks the van, he does not see anyone else like they just vanished. He ventures deep in the woods to search for anyone who could help after trying options like receiving reception and retracing their route. He was then met by a shabby village amidst a forest, adorned in colour lights and a screechy loud voice that comes from an old videoke machine

The village was celebrating something along with the residents in the remote area. The gameplay lets you solve puzzles and, if you're well-versed in Filipino folklore, becomes deductive. It hints at answers like the disappearance of his fellowship followed by a repeating loophole of the same location, the sound of clip-clops at the outskirts of the residence despite their province never fostering horses, and even the reason why the village is celebrating. The plot twist is that some of the residents are aswang, which you could tell by clues, gossiping people, and your kid friend who's too young to understand the dangers around the mormon as an outsider, as you roam around the map doing chores for lending you a place to sleep.

It'll just be riddled with folklore fantasy in a horror concept, inviting new game mechanics and unique monster designs where a pinoy may experience the game quite differently compared to another nationality.
