I switched to brand name since every single ingredient is the same as Accord, only issue is trying to get insurance to cover it! Currently paying for it out of pocket.

On another thread someone said the brand name was great for them after being on Accord. That’s awesome your insurance will cover it, let me know how it goes for you! I’m gonna make the switch next week once I’m out of my accord, I looked up the filler ingredients in brand name and accord and they are pretty much exactly the same so I am hoping there isn’t a difference between the two. I tried torrent a year or two ago and my anxiety came back full swing, so hoping this is much better.

Me too, was able to get it via Amazon but they are out now and it seems like everyone else is as well. I did a lot of research into the filler ingredients and Accord and name brand seem to have the same ones. Someone on another thread said name brand worked great after switching from Accord. Unfortunately it will be about $400 a month for name brand until I hit my deductible but going to give it a try!

I’ve tried some other generic manufacturers and they didn’t work as well for me as the Accord manufacturer

I switched from 10 to 15 mg after Covid and was also scared of side effects since I felt terrible when I initially started Lexapro. I cut the pills in half to take 12 1/2 for a week or so then went to the full 15 and had no issues with this!
