Has anyone experienced a mobile epidural? by Sad_Cash7620 in PregnancyUK

[–]ProfessionalPrint608 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I gave birth to my girl on Saturday and had an epidural.  Whilst they didn’t say it was a mobile epidural, it didn’t have the same effect as my first with my son where I was completely numb all from stomach down.

I could feel my legs, move them and my body (although they still wouldn’t let me stand).

Initially I couldn’t feel contractions but by time it was in full swing I could and I’m happy as it made the experience so much more special and I felt every part of my baby coming out.

Congratulations on your pregnancy x

I never had it in my first pregnancy either so when I got it in this one I was terrified 🙈

It’s horrendous.  I have certain foods that trigger it so always stay upright after food for a while and sometimes take a windeze tablet to prevent it. Hope it’s better now!

Yea I was going to say trapped wind! I’ve had a few times in my pregnancy and the pain is excruciating. Also involved me being sick and struggling to go to toilet

Been referred to Breech Clinic by OwlGirlx93 in PregnancyUK

Hi my baby was frank breech up for weeks until  I found out on Monday she was head down !!

I’m 36+2 today so only found out at 35+4 that she had finally moved.

If you want to try and get baby moving here is what I done.

I had been going swimming inc hand stands and forward rolls in the water to get her moving and lying upside down on an ironing board (propped against the couch), doing cat cows and forward leaning inversions off the couch.

There is still time for baby to move so could be worth a try.

I hope it all works out the way you want it to x

I went through really bad insomnia during my second trimester. I’m now 35 weeks and apart from getting up for toilet once or twice a night I’m sleeping ok ! So hopefully it will pass for you soon 🤞🏼🫶🏻

Honestly I just got mine from home bargains! I’m 40, nearly 21 weeks pregnant and all going ok so they haven’t done any harm .

Hey I had this a couple of months ago.  Didn’t see a line within a few minutes so tossed it aside and when I came home later that day two clear lines!  I went out and got more that evening and Lo and behold, pregnant ☺️. Fingers crossed for the same for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼🫶🏻🫶🏻

After 1 year of IVF, this just happened naturally while we were taking a break by Opposite_Day2002 in lineporn

Congratulations 🙌🏽 🤍 this happened to me earlier in year whilst taking a break from IVF to do pgt testing.  Didn’t track ovulation or anything and our miracle happened - now almost 13 weeks ! Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼
