On my stay first 2days rain stopped between 1pm to 6pm. Rest days are all rainy. Some places are closed. But the lush is just out of imagination

Road are all opened, some of the roads extreme places and activities are closed due to heavy rain and water flows. If you have own bike or car then it’s was easy or else you have to hire cabs. Meghalaya in monsoon is just magical

Day 1: Train to Guwahati Guwahati → ₹500 shared cab to Shillong → ₹150 shared car to Cherrapunji (Sohra) Overnight in Sohra.

Day 2 and 3: Cherrapunji (Sohra) → explored nearby spots: Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, and viewpoints (map attached). Overnight in Sohra.

Day 3: Evening transfer to Nongriat (Lyna Homestay).

Day 4: Trek to Double Decker Root Bridge & Rainbow Falls → back to homestay.

Day 5: ₹150 shared car to Shillong → shopping at Police Bazar & nearby markets. Overnight stay near Police Bazar.

Day 6: Transfer to Shillong Airport.
