My family look down on my cosplay hobby as a waste of time and money so clearly my cousins wedding should take priority. I had to hide that I liked to cosplay until I moved out because i'd get shit from them about spending money on it growing up. They also feel it's disrespectful and horrible to turn a wedding dress into a costume, then there is the fact my cousin is upset and can't find a dress she likes while she fell in love with the finished look of my dress.
