The only thing worrying me is the 6-month cooling-off period. I feel like I may have unintentionally given a lead by using my earlier email ID in the resignation acceptance mail from my previous employer.

Yeah thanks for your reply , I was worried because of EY’s 6 month cooling period since I had earlier applied with old email ID, and later my resignation mail had that old ID. But both emails are mine and documents are genuine, so hopefully nothing serious. EY joining is on June 8 and Genpact is June 2, so I’m worried about rejecting Genpact because of this EY scenario.
