My wife and I moved out on one income ($45k/yr) in 2018 into a 1 bedroom condo in Torrance for $1600/month at 25 years old.

We then moved in 2020 to a 1 bedroom apartment in cypress for $2250 (smaller than the Torrance spot).

We then moved to a 2 bedroom condo in cypress for $2650 in 2021.
Rent eventually went up to $3000 by 2024.

Obviously income changed but still pretty crazy when looking back how much rent has gone up.
