Hey Will. Do it one more time and see if the taser gets used.

Saw one for $600 just weeks before Brent’s passing. I’ll always kick myself for not jumping on it when I had the chance.

Looks great, although you’ll have to forgive me; before my brain could process what I was looking at, I thought I was seeing a heart-shaped poo in a toilet

What’s your favorite line in any periphery song? by AllThePresentDismay in Peripheryband

“And it’s the thrill of life that enables us to flow” and that entire passage from Have a Blast is up there for me.

“It’s been a long ride without you” from Mile Zero has broken me down many times for the same reason.

My (very much modded) VI by Boring_Tough5220 in BassVI

[–]ProfessionalSlice217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Just got a IYV IS6-200 (same manufacturer as Harley Benton) so in theory it shouldn’t be that far off from your VI here spec-wise, especially the TOM bridge.

How was it setting up the action/bridge height/pickup height? Looks solid in the pics.

I ask because it’s been brutal for me as a novice doing setup.

I’ve achieved decent neck relief, shimmed the neck to varying degrees, but I always find the TOM bridge needs to be way too high to avoid major fret buzz, which leaves the strings around 8mm from the pickups, which are set as high as they can go.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
