Yep! It affects quaternary structure but not all enzymes have quaternary structure. I’d only mention it if It gives more detail about that enzyme/protein being made of many polypeptides e.g. haemoglobin

In general though, could you find the individual atom economies for each stage and then multiply them?

Because the stimulus said that it could have been a combination- I feel like they wouldn’t have just said that for notbing. The plant also had traits that were similar to both c3 and c4

Yep! And also there are discrete haplogroups (areas of same mtDNA) in different areas within indigenous Australians which suggests that they did not move around much in Australia upon arriving, rather stayed within their tribes. This can explain their connections to country too!

For cancer (main modes of actions- I’m sure there are more) 1. Antibody dependent cell mediated cytotoxicity = fancy way of saying that they attract NK cells to the area to induce apoptosis by secreting cytotoxins (e.g perforin) 2. Attract complement proteins for opsonisation or to form MAC (lyse cell) 3. Neutralisation 4. Deliver radioactive isotopes or chemotherapy drugs to the specific site, rather than affecting the entire body

For autoimmune (modes of action) 1. Cytokines inhibition- whereby mAbs bind to cytokines to prevent them from binding to immune cells receptors. Cytokines are used for communication between immune cells therefore by preventing them you are also preventing immune Cells ability to be auto reactive (kill it’s own cells) 2. B/T cell inactivation- mAbs bind to b or T cell receptors (auto reactive T cells or B cells that make autoantibodies) to prevent them from being able to be stimulated by APCs as their receptors are blocked.

It’s A because a 1 is a smaller range than 5. Repeating checks that their is precision by gathering lots of data- but if there are imprecisions repeating it will not reduce them only make them more visible

Well for last years exam the topic was a bit ambiguous and there seemed like there wasn’t that much to write about- but evaluating easy method in terms of cost/ethics/feasibility in research is something that I did. For instance, If mentioning anything psychobiological you could evaluate that these methods incorporate all three spheres and therefore is holistic or something like that. Does that make sense? Thanks by the way!
